National Road Safety Week 8 - 14 May 2017

National Road Safety Week is a great way to promote safer driving and raise awareness of road safety.

This week, Transport Canberra Bus Drivers will be wearing a yellow ribbon as a symbol of commitment to safer driving and to reflect on the impact of road trauma. If you would like to show your commitment, display a yellow ribbon on your car, motorbike or bicycle.

This campaign is an initiative of Safer Australian Roads and Highways (SARAH) which was established by Mr Peter Frazer after his daughter was killed in a road crash on the Hume Highway in February 2012.

For more information about what is happening around Canberra for National Road Safety Week visit or take the pledge to 'Drive so Others Survive' at the Sarah Group website.
