Free Travel for Seniors during Seniors Week, 12 - 18 March 2018

Transport Canberra is providing free travel for all Seniors Card holders from Monday 12 to Sunday 18 March 2018.

If you are a holder of the following cards you are entitled to free travel:

ACT Seniors MyWay Card
If you have an ACT Seniors MyWay Card then tap on and off as usual, but your journey will be free of charge.

ACT/Interstate Seniors Card
If you don’t have a MyWay Card but hold an ACT/Interstate Seniors Card, then just show the driver and your ride will be on us!

Seniors Week Expo at Exhibition Park in Canberra

On Thursday 15March, COTA will be holding their Seniors Week Expo at EPIC.

Regular TC bus services

To allow passenger’s access to the Expo, all regular Transport Canberra buses that travel along Flemington Road will stop outside the venue in the temporary bus stop (as indicated below) between 9:00am to 3:30pm on Thursday 15 March 2018. Our 200 Red Rapids operate every 15 minutes from the City Bus Station and Gungahlin Bus Station.

FREE Shuttle to EPIC

Flexible Transport Bus Service will be providing a free shuttle service to the Seniors Expo, which will be Tuggeranong Bus Station (Platform 9), Woden Bus Station (Platform 3) the City Bus Station (Platform 11 on Northbourne Avenue) and will continue through to EPIC.

The shuttles will run from 9:30am through to 3pm, please refer to below timetable for pick up times and locations.

Return Shuttle Services

Free return shuttle services from the Seniors Expo will return to the City Bus Station (Platform 10 on Northbourne Avenue), Woden Bus Station and Tuggeranong Bus Station commencing at 10:30 am with the last shuttle departing EPIC at 3pm.
