Bus

Red Rapid 200 services will drop event goers at the bus stops at Exhibition Park in Canberra on Flemington Road. Red Rapid 200 services will depart every 15 minutes or better.

City Bus Station to EPIC

Red Rapid 200, 956 or 958 from Platform 8 will drop event goers to EPIC at bus stop 4751 on Flemington Road.

Gungahlin Place Bus Station to EPIC

Red Rapid 200, 956 or 958 from Platform 1 will drop event goers to EPIC at bus stop 4751 on Flemington Road.

Belconnen Bus Station to EPIC

Route 931 or Route 980 departing from the Cohen Street Bus Station, Westfield Belconnen Bus Station and Belconnen Community Bus Station will travel to Northbourne Avenue bus stop 4551.  Event goers will then cross over Northbourne Avenue to bus stop 4552 and catch a Red Rapid 200to EPIC.

Woden Bus Station to EPIC

Blue Rapid 300 from Platform 9 will drop event goers at the City Bus Station to transfer to a Red Rapid 200, 956 or958 from Platform 8.  

Tuggeranong Bus Station to EPIC

Blue Rapid 300 from Platform 8 will drop event goers at the City Bus Station to transfer to a Red Rapid 200, 956 or958 from Platform 8.  

Getting Home

From 9.00pm after the event Transport Canberra will be operating FREE chartered buses back to all major bus stations. Buses will depart from inside Exhibition Park in Canberra outside of the event entry gate.

Light Rail

Light rail services will run between Gungahlin Place and Alinga Street with passengers able to depart at the EPIC and Racecourse light rail stop to and from the event at Exhibition Park in Canberra.

Journey Planner

The easiest way to get to the event is by taking public transport.

The best way to plan your journey is to use the new Transport Canberra Journey Planner.

The Journey Planner allows you to select your mode of travel, in this case bus, and then select your start and end destination. You can even enter in when you wish to leave.

To plan your travel to GTM at EPIC simply place your starting destination in the starting point and then place your destination point, (in this instance Exhibition Park in Canberra). You will then be able to plan your travel depending on when you wish to leave.

Transport Canberra’s Red Rapid 200 series travels past the Exhibition Park in Canberra on Flemington Road with buses every 15 minutes or better.

For convenience you can use an allocated parking space to park your car before catching a bus or light rail to complete your journey. You’ll be helping to reduce congestion on ACT roads and the demand for parking at EPIC.
