National Folk Festival participants can take advantage of FREE travel throughout the event on all days by showing the driver your pre-purchased ticket or event pass.

The easiest way to get to the event is by taking public transport.
The best way to plan your journey is to use the new Transport Canberra Journey Planner.
The Journey Planner allows you to select your mode of travel, in this case bus, and then select your start and end destination. You can even enter in when you wish to leave.
To plan your travel to the National Folk Festival at EPIC simply place your starting destination in the starting point and then place your destination point, (in this instance Exhibition Park in Canberra). You will then be able to plan your travel depending on when you wish to leave.
Transport Canberra’s Red Rapid 200 series travels past the Exhibition Park in Canberra on Flemington Road with buses every 15 minutes or better.
