On Wednesday 19 December, NO Transport Canberra bus services will run between 10am and 2pm.
Limited services will be available between 9.30am - 10am and 2pm - 2.30pm.
This is to allow all drivers to attend an authorised Transport Workers Union meeting.
The meeting has been scheduled outside of peak travel times to minimise inconvenience to our customers.
This disruption, while inconvenient, is an important process in negotiating a new Enterprise Bargaining Agreement (EBA) with our drivers and staff.
No school services will be affected.
Special Needs Transport and the Flexible Bus Service will operate as per usual during this time.
Transport Canberra asks customers to plan ahead during this time, to avoid inconvenience.
We apologise for this disruption in service and thank the Canberra community for their understanding and cooperation.
Transport Canberra will ensure the community is kept informed in regards to this disruption.

Why did you choose this day and time for the meeting?
10am – 2pm, Wednesday 19 December, was chosen due to the fact that it is one of the quietest travel periods for Transport Canberra passengers. It is also outside of peak travel and does not affect any school services.
What if I have no other means of travel during that time?
Transport Canberra apologises for the inconvenience and encourages passengers to plan ahead during this time.
When exactly do services finish and when do they start again?
NO Transport Canberra bus services will run during 10am – 2pm.
Limited services will be available between 9.30am - 10am and 2pm - 2.30pm to allow for drivers to come off the road for the meeting in the morning and services to start back up in the afternoon.
What about QCity and Transborder bus services?
QCity and Transborder buses will not be affected by the meeting. You will need to consider any connections during that time with Transport Canberra buses.
