Plan ahead

To get to the National Multicultural Festival, you may need to use multiple modes of transport, including bus, walking and cycling.

Plan your trip ahead of time. The best way to plan your journey is to use the TC Journey Planner  . The Journey Planner allows you to select your mode of travel and then select your start and end destination. To plan your travel to and from the City simply place your starting destination in the starting point and then choose the City Bus Station as your destination. You will then be able to plan your travel depending on when you wish to leave.

Please consider the temporary relocation of stops when using NXTBUS during this period. Transport Canberra staff will also be available to assist passengers during this period.

Customers are encouraged to stay up to date with event diversions by connecting with Transport Canberra on Facebook or Twitter , and to also pay attention to all passenger signage in the area.

Park & Ride

Avoid the hustle and bustle of finding a park in the city and use one of our Park & Ride facilities across Canberra. Park & Ride facilities are located within easy reach of Rapid routes, providing you with easy access to simply park your car and jump on a bus or light rail service to complete your journey.

Bike & Ride

Riding a bike is a great way to connect with the Transport Canberra network using Bike & Ride.

You can ride your bike and secure it to a bike rail or at one of our six secure cages. You can also take it on board as you continue your journey on a bus or the light rail.
