If you are over 60 and meet the eligibility requirements, you can now apply for your ACT Seniors MyWay card using our online form.
The online application form is easy to use. All you need to apply is your postal address details, your date of birth and to provide the number of either your valid medicare card, healthcare card, centrelink pension card or DVA medical card.
Once your application is submitted you will receive you card in the mail after 7 business days. If you wish to travel on a Transport Canberra service whilst waiting for your card you can use your electronic receipt to receive free transport for 14 days or until your seniors card arrives in the mail. You will have to show this to the bus driver or light rail staff member if asked. Please be mindful that while restrictions have eased in some areas, we ask that people avoid public transport in peak hour to help with physical distancing on services.
The ACT Seniors Card provides access to a range of discounts, special offers and transport concessions across the ACT and interstate. ACT Seniors Cards are combined with Transport Canberra MyWay cards – one card allows for public transport access, and Seniors Card discounts.
