Use your MyWay card to access bus and light rail services with one ticket and one fare across the entire Transport Canberra network. Regular fares apply from Monday 27 May 2019, so don’t forget to tap on and tap off at the validators on buses and at light rail stops.
MyWay calculates the cheapest possible fare per passenger, based on any eligible concession and daily or monthly fare caps.
All MyWay fares include a free 90-minute transfer period so you can connect to a different bus or light rail service or commence your return journey using the same ticket within 90 minutes of purchase. Daily tickets are valid until midnight on the day of purchase.
If you do not have a MyWay card you will need to buy a single ticket from a bus driver or ticket vending machine. Additionally, if you do not tap on and tap off for your trip you will be charged a default fare.
You can purchase MyWay:
Don’t forget to register your MyWay card to protect your travel balance if your MyWay card is lost, stolen or damaged, and to check your travel balance online.

Eligible senior and concession MyWay card holders travel for free between 9am and 4.30pm and after 6pm weekdays, plus all day Saturday, Sunday and on public holidays.
