Trevor Dickinson's beautiful bus shelters of Canberra - CMAG Exhibition (6 Oct '18 - 27 Jan '19)

Canberra is home to the distinctive concrete bus shelters designed by architect Clem Cummings in 1975. Nearly 500 shelters remain and over the past four years, artist Trevor Dickinson has been on a quest to locate and draw every one.

Trevor has selected over 50 illustrations to be part of the Beautiful bus shelters of Canberra exhibition at Canberra Museum and Gallery (CMAG) from 6 October 2018 to 27 January 2019.

Beautiful bus shelters of Canberra reveals that every shelter has its own beauty and personality; and explores how these shape Canberra’s unique suburban landscape.

Transport Canberra is proud to be supporting Trevor Dickinson and encourages everyone to visit the exhibition and experience the iconic Canberran bus shelters in a quirky new light.
