Our lost property team take charge

Meet Deb and Leanne, two of our lovely lost property staff. If you have ever lost your phone on one of our buses, Deb and Leanne from the Tuggeranong Depot are the ones to help you find it.

They take extra care to ensure all phones handed in are charged up to give people the extra chance of finding them. There’s not much worse than the fear of your lost phone running out of charge! Leanne has been with us for 4 years and has been a huge influence since joining. Deb has been with us for 19 years, first driving before moving to the administration side of the business.

Phones aren’t the only thing handed in, over 1,400 items were returned in 2022. Popular lost items include umbrellas, water bottles and AirPods. Some of the quirkier things the team have encountered include a chainsaw, vacuum cleaner, and a wet towel with swimmers in them…
