Shared e-scooter and e-bike devices

Shared e-scooter and e-bike devices are a convenient option for short trips on their own or combined with public transport.

Lime operates e-scooter and e-bike hire across Canberra. For more details see the map. Please check Lime’s app to see where the e-scooters and e-bikes can be used.

The shared e-rideable scheme is widely used, with about 1,900 trips per day taken since it began in September 2020 – that’s over 4.6 million completed trips.

You must follow the road rules when using shared e-scooters and e-bikes. Wear a helmet, comply with speed limits, ride safely and park devices responsibly. Please see the e-scooters and personal mobility devices page for more information.
