FREE chartered bus services:

Free chartered buses to Brumbies and Raiders games at GIO stadium will be operated by Q-City Transit.

Charters will depart from all major Transport Canberra bus stations and return services depart GIO Stadium approximately 20 minutes after the game ends.

The following Transport Canberra routes will service nearby to GIO Stadium. Please note that regular fares apply.

Weekdays: R2, R3, R4 and R9.

Saturday: R2, R3, R4 and R9.

Light Rail

Light rail services run between Gungahlin Place and the City with stops along Northbourne Avenue and Flemington Road. Passengers can transfer onto a regular Transport Canberra route along the service or onto a Q-City Transit charter at the Gungahlin Place Bus Station or City Bus Station to GIO Stadium.

Park & Ride

To travel to events at GIO Stadium you can consider Park & Ride. For convenience you can use an allocated parking space to park your car before catching a bus to complete your journey. You’ll be helping to reduce congestion on ACT roads and the demand for parking at GIO Stadium.
