Meet Campbell, a CMET Customer Service officer


It’s International Day of People with Disability! Today we celebrate and raise awareness about disability inclusion in all aspects of life.

Campbell has been a Customer Service Officer at Canberra Metro Operations for nearly three years, starting before operations commenced. Like many of us, Campbell had to adjust to new ways of working during the COVID-19 pandemic. As an Autistic person, wearing a face mask for every shift can be challenging. We’re so proud of how Campbell has adapted to keep the community safe as an essential worker during the most recent Canberra Lockdown.

Campbell’s ability to adapt to the changes this past year has garnered the admiration of his grandmother Margaret who lives near the light rail and is a frequent user. As a retired nurse, Margaret is so proud of Campbell and his ongoing professional development.

Transport Canberra and CMET would like to celebrate Campbell’s achievements and all those people working and living with disabilities.
