For all passengers travelling on Fare free Fridays using a single use ticket, please do not scan on and off when using Transport Canberra bus and light rail services until further notice. This is to ensure you do not activate your ticket on Fridays. You can still tap or scan on and off using a bank card, MyWay+ card or in-app QR code. No fares will be charged. Swinden Street Park and Ride relocation from Monday 15 September 2025 until further notice


The Swinden Street Park and Ride facility will be relocated to a nearby carpark from Monday 15 September 2025 until further notice. This is due to maintenance works related to light rail Stage 2A.

Please proceed to the nearby carpark located further south on Mouat Street or the nearby Park and Ride facilities at Exhibition Park (EPIC) on Flemington Road.
