On 11 November 1918, the guns of the Western Front fell silent after four years of continuous warfare during the First World War.
The Australian War Memorial will commemorate Remembrance Day 2025 with the National Ceremony on Tuesday 11 November 2025.
When: 10:45 am on Tuesday 11 November 2025 (guests to be seated by 10:30 am).
Where: Parade ground at the Australian War Memorial.

Free shuttle bus services
Destination trip:
- Free shuttle bus services will be available from Majura Park Shopping Centre bus stop 5110 (Dakota Drive before Beaufighter Street) to Fairbairn Avenue, adjacent to the Australian War Memorial.
- The first shuttle departs Majura Park at 9:30 am with final drop off at the Memorial at 10:30 am.
Return trip:
- Return services from the Australian War Memorial to Majura Park Shopping Centre will commence following the ceremony.

Road closures related to this event will see diversions in place on route 54 from Limestone Avenue and Fairbairn Avenue. Please visit the service alerts page for more information.
Getting to Australian War Memorial from major town centres
- City: Route 54 provide direct services to the Australian War Memorial, with the nearest stops on Limestone Avenue and Fairbairn Avenue with a short walk to the Australian War Memoria.
- Belconnen: R2, R3 and R4 provide direct access to the city and transfer to route 54 to get to the Australian War Memoria.
- Gungahlin: The light rail provides direct access to the city and transfer to route 54 to get to the Australian War Memoria.
- Woden: R4 and R5 provide direct access the city and transfer to route 54 to get to the Australian War Memoria.
- Tuggeranong: R4 provides direct the city and transfer to route 54 to get to the Australian War Memoria.
