Walk or run to work
Check your proximity to your workplace with Journey Planner. You may find it's closer than you think, particularly when you take shortcuts through paths and laneways. As a guide, it takes around 20 minutes to walk 2km.
Take your bike on the light rail. Bikes can be carried on light rail and must board through either of the double doors, which are marked with a bicycle image. All bikes must be placed into the allocated bicycle rack which is marked on the light rail floor. The racks are designed to accommodate two-wheel, single-seat bikes. A maximum of four bike racks are available and cannot be reserved, spaces are on a first come first served basis.
