New Saturday bus timetable from 6 April 2024


A new Saturday bus timetable featuring more frequent bus services will begin from Saturday 6 April 2024.

The new timetable will increase local bus frequency on Saturdays, extending hourly services from first service in the morning until 6:00 pm. Rapid bus services will continue to run every 15 to 30 minutes across the entire weekend.

Saturday bus timetable

Changes to the new Saturday bus timetable include:

  • extension of hourly local buses from first service in the morning until 6:00 pm
  • 57 additional bus services in the Belconnen region
  • 48 additional bus services in the Gungahlin region
  • 61 additional bus services in the Central Canberra region
  • 73 additional bus services in the Woden, Weston Creek and Molonglo regions, and
  • 92 additional bus services in the Tuggeranong region.

The new timetable does not include changes to services on Sundays.

Light rail

There are no changes to light rail frequencies which remain every 15 minutes on weekends.
