From 9:00 am Friday 26 September until 3:00 pm Monday 29 September 2025, Coppins Crossing Road will be closed between Holborow Avenue and Hazel Hawke Avenue. This is due to construction for the Molonglo River Bridge project.

Public transport impacts
Route 47 will only service stops between Belconnen and Whitlam from 9:00 am Friday 26 September until 3:00 pm Monday 29 September 2025. Several bus stops in Denman Prospect and Whitlam will not be serviced during this time. For full information, please visit our service alerts page.
School services
Dedicated school services include 2054 (Mount Stromlo High School), 2046 (Marist College), 2076 (St Mary MacKillop College) and 2093 (Canberra Grammar School) will continue to operate as normal from Denman Prospect.
On Friday 26 September 2025, there will be a dedicated temporary afternoon school only service from the Evelyn Scott School to Whitlam and Belconnen via the Tuggeranong Parkway. This dedicated school only service will depart Evelyn Scott School at 3:15 pm.
Please note that the morning school day only service on Friday 26 September will not be affected.
Students in Denman Prospect who usually connect to other services using the route 47 are advised to arrange alternative travel options on Friday 26 September.
Alternate travel options for Denman Prospect residents
Route R10 services to the city and route 66 services to Woden will continue to service the Denman Prospect region.
Passengers travelling from Whitlam to Denman Prospect can take the route 47 to Belconnen, transfer to rapids R2, R3 or R4 to the city and then transfer to rapid R10 services to reach Denman Prospect.
