Light rail is coming and major construction work to raise London Circuit has now begun.
Raising London Circuit involves changing the current split-level configuration into a more pedestrian and cyclist-friendly intersection. The road level will be raised by six metres and a direct intersection with Commonwealth Avenue will be reinstated. The existing cloverleaf ramps (north-west and south-west) will be removed. To safely raise London Circuit to create an at-level intersection with Commonwealth Avenue, London Circuit will be temporarily closed between Edinburgh Avenue and Constitution Avenue for approximately two years. The two existing western cloverleaf ramps will also be removed permanently at this time.
During this period there will be a number of bus diversions in place. No bus stops will be missed.
