Improved Sunday bus timetable from Sunday 31 August 2025


An improved Sunday bus timetable with more frequent bus services begins Sunday 31 August 2025.

The improved timetable will increase local bus frequency on Sundays, extending hourly services from first service in the morning to approximately 2:00 pm in the afternoon. Rapid bus services will continue to run every 15 to 30 minutes across the entire weekend.

Sunday timetable

Changes to the improved Sunday bus timetable will include:

  • Extension of hourly local buses from first service in the morning until approximately 2:00 pm
  • 87 extra services for Belconnen
  • 61 extra services for Gungahlin
  • 77 extra services for Central Canberra
  • 111 extra services for Woden
  • 54 extra services for Molonglo and Weston Creek
  • 85 extra services for Tuggeranong

Refinements to other services include:

  • New bus stop for Rapid 6 and route 902 at the Canberra Hospital
  • There are no other changes to the Saturday or weekday timetable.
